Alda Da Silva

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Alda Da Silva (55), on July 27, 2023 at Juravinski Hospital, after a remarkably brave battle with cancer. Lovingly remembered by her daughters, Tiffany (Jason) and Tanya and her grandchildren Aidan, Gabriel, Makayla, and Carter. Alda will be missed by her siblings, niece and two nephews.

Alda will be fondly remembered for her welcoming smile, her incredible crochet and devotion to volunteer work at the Canadian Legion. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, fiercely independent and hardworking. She is deeply loved and will be missed by all. The family finds comfort in knowing she has been reunited in heaven with her loving parents. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

A mass in Alda’s honour will be held on Saturday August 5, 2023 at 6:30pm at SS. Salvador do Mundo in Mississauga, located at 1212 Melton Drive, Mississauga, ON, L4Y 1L5. Keeping with Alda's wishes, cremation has taken place and no further services will be held.
