Andrew "Andy" Lawrence Kuntz

Andrew (Andy) Kuntz of Walkerton, formerly of Formosa, Ontario passed away with great sadness in Walkerton in his 79th year, on March 19th 2020. Andy was born in Formosa on the family farm, on March 29, 1941 where he farmed for fifty years. He married Irlma Wiles on September 10th, 1983. Besides farming he worked on construction, building houses with his brother-in-law Dennis Regier. Andy is survived by his wife Irlma; three brothers George (Loretta) of Saskatoon Sask., Harold (Evelyn) of Formosa and Bill Kuntz of Formosa; three sisters Bertha Hehn (Mike) of St. Clements, Luci Ronald (Bob) of Dunville, and Rita Kuntz-Regier of Port Elgin; sisters-in-law Mary Kuntz of Taber, Alberta and Ruth Dixson (Steve) of Oakville, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father and mother in 1983 Andrew Sr. and Magdalene (nee Kieffer) Kuntz; father and mother-in-law Russel and Carrie Wiles; brothers Gerald (Nancy),and John (Mary); in-laws Lois Kuntz Opperman, Dennis Reiger, Reid Hutchison, and Jean Hutchison; nephew Michael; and  great nephew Andrew Kuntz. In his younger days Andy liked hunting and fishing and going to farm sales. A good glass of cider and the odd cigar.

Cremation has taken place.  A private family gathering to celebrate Andy’s life will be held at a later date.
