Barbara Ann “Barb”  (Moore)  Of Kemble passed away in her 69th year with her loving husband Jack at her side at the Residential Hospice of Grey-Bruce in Owen Sound on the morning of Wednesday August 17, 2016.  Beloved wife and soul mate of Jack Gemmill for 49 years of marriage.  Loving mother to Mark of Vancouver and Lance (Terra nee Hetherington) of Alliston.  Proud grandmother to Reid and Chloe.  Predeceased by her parents, Sonny and Marj Moore, and father-in-law, Russ Gemmill, all of Goderich.  Survived by her sister, Linda (Ian) Morton, and mother-in-law, Janet Gemmill, all of Goderich.  Barb will be missed by her two aunts, her uncle, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Barb’s happiest hours were spent gardening, knitting, and spending summers in the North Channel as Jack’s first mate on their boat, Invictus .  Spending time with family, friends, and neighbours was important to Barb, and she captured many special moments with her camera.  Many thanks to all the friends who brightened Barb’s days with their visits, flowers and words of inspiration.  Also a heartfelt thank-you from Barb’s family to all the caring nurses and staff at Wiarton Hospital, Owen Sound Hospital and the Residential Hospice of Grey-Bruce.  Cremation has taken place.  As desired by Barb, a happy celebration of her life will be held on Friday September 9th from 2 – 4pm at the Owen Sound Legion.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey-Bruce would be appreciated.
