Barry George Harney

Peacefully at his home in Exeter on Friday, May 12, 2023 in his 77th year. Barry, loving father of  Virginia James Harney, Barry Harney Jr. and his wife Roz, and Lee Harney and his wife Tonya. Proud grandfather of Tara, Kristy, Ashley, Jazmyn, Tyler, Kayla, Alysha, Lexi, and Sophie; and great grandfather of 12. Dear brother of Georgina and her husband Hugh Kelly, Margaret and her husband Bob Peddle, and Terry Harney and his wife Cathi. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Barry will be missed by his friends Cathy and her children William and Miranda, Shane, Mary, Linda and his faithful canine companion Brady. Predeceased by his parents George and Hazel Harney, and his nephews Mike Kelly and Darryl Harney.

A private Celebration of Barry’s life will be held for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Farley Foundation or the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
