Carl Russell Stewart

Carl Russell Stewart of Allenford passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Chapman House Hospice February 10th, 2023 at the age of 78. Beloved Husband of Janice (nee Ladd). Loving father to Francine (Bob) Hollinger, Carla (Chris) Sutton, Cathy (Jim) Holland, Carl (Janine) Stewart, Wade (Stacey) Stewart and Joanne (Rick) Anderson. Being a Grandpa (Bumps) came naturally to him for Adam (Candice), Brett, Kirstie (Ryan), Jesse (Serena), Nicole (Scott), Parker, Carly (Evan), Devin (Kyrah), Dylan, Tyler and Avery. Survived by Brother Walter (Luella), Sister Melinda (Jim), Brother Lesley (Dory) and Sister Ola as well as Sister-In-Laws Pat, Terry and Karen. Predeceased by Parents Elmer and Eileen, Sisters Shirley & Millie and Brothers Dave, Tom & Elmer, Brother-In-Law Joe and Nephew Bradley. Carl will be remembered fondly by his many Nieces and Nephews.

Carl’s Passions included Fishing and Hunting as well as Playing Outdoor games with Family and Friends (Sometimes involving Small Wagers to Make it Interesting). He looked forward to the Annual Family Fishing Trips and the many Family Get Togethers.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Carl’s Life will be held February 25th at the Arkwright Community Centre, Bruce County Rd. 17, Tara from 1 to 4 pm.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Chapman House Hospice or the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the Family.
