Peacefully, at Grey Gables, Markdale on Friday, August 23, 2024 in his 82nd year.
Ted was born in Toronto but raised in the small Northern Ontario town of New Liskeard by his parents Edward and Anne, alongside his sisters Beverley (Paice Sutowski), Betty (Barna) and Joy (Kimler).
After graduating from Ryerson Polytrechnical College, Ted had a long career as an optometrist as well as being an accomplished drummer. Always ready for a good time and a laugh, Ted was a joy to spend time with.
He will be missed by his children Terry Reid, Colin Collier and his wife Karri, and Debra and her husband Ian Hepburn as well as his grandchildren Taylor, Stewart, Troy and Evelyn.
Ted is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Anne as well as his sister, Beverley.
Private family arrangements have taken place.
Memorial donations to the Grey Gables Resident Fund would be appreciated by the family.
