Grant William Dunlop

It is with a heavy heart; we announce the peaceful passing of Grant William Dunlop. He departed this world on August 22, 2023, at the age of 70.

Grant was the cherished son of Alvin and Adel Dunlop. Beloved brother to Beverly, Ken (Irene), Murial, Norma, Nora, predeceased by Sharon. He was an Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Alongside his devoted wife Merle, he leaves behind five children: Chad (Sabina), Connie (Jimmy), Crystal (Andrew), Sheri (Gary), and Melissa (Andrew). His legacy also includes 14 grandchildren: Aaliyah, Brooke, Haydn, Taylor, Caleb, Andrew Jr., Carmen, Devin, Kiana-Lynn, Arius, Ava, Georgia, Jacob, and Kyah.

Grant was not only an exceptional spouse, father, grandfather, and friend, but also a gifted musician. He embodied hard work, light-heartedness, humor, strength, unwavering faith, wisdom, and steadfast guidance. He remains in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Although Grant’s physical presence may have departed, his spirit lives through the laughter he shared, the wisdom he imparted, and the music that will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved him.
