Jeanette Marie (née Joyce née Couture) Gervais

Jeanette was a resident of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Oshawa and Goderich, Ontario. She went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on 9 October 2021.

She was born in Bathhurst, New Brunswick, on 2 March 1942 to Thomas Maurice Couture (1913-1988) and Lydia Piech, née Roy (1920-2001). She was the eldest of three siblings to include Eunice and Barry.

Jeanette will be remembered for her devotion to God and her tireless work helping those in need within her community.

She is survived by her loving husband, Blayne Gervais.

She is also survived by her brother Barry Couture and her children from her first marriage (Harold Joyce), Brian, Barry and Ken Joyce.

She has two grandchildren Emily (Ken and Sirpa) and Aiden (Brian and Wendy).

All who knew Jeanette will miss her physical presence dearly; however, as proclaimed through God’s loving scripture, “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” Jeanette’s faith in Jesus has come full circle, and she has received her reward. Therefore, we should not be sad at death but rejoice in all His promises. Words cannot describe the joy and peace her spirit is now experiencing in the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
