Peacefully at his home in Goderich, with his wife Denise, and sons Adam and Timothy by his side.
Mike was born in Windsor, Ontario, but resided most of his life in Burlington. In 2015 Mike and Denise moved to Goderich.
Mike worked in the automotive business since high school, spending several years with Firestone. Then he owned and operated A. T. Automotive in Oakville for two decades. In 2015 he co-founded CM Small Engine in Goderich. Mike retired in December 2021, after many happy years in an industry he loved working with and serving like-minded people.
Mike was a generous man who loved entertaining family and friends. His passion was playing golf when he wasn’t watching and yelling at the sports on television. Otherwise, he could be found enjoying a cold beer on the back deck and listening endlessly to Radio Margaritaville.
The family is grateful to the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton, and the Southwest Local Health Network medical team.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
