Pamela McCoy

Peacefully, at her home in Owen Sound, on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the age of 62. Pam, beloved wife of Dave for over 28 years. Loved mother of Monica (Chris Kerr), and Marcia (Brandon Merritt), and stepmother of Michelle and Mike. Proud Grandmother of Jazlynn, Carson, Cash, Ayden, and Ronan. Dear sister of Barbara (Cliff Yantha), and Patricia Whiteside. Predeceased by her parents Donald and Pauline Barber.

Pam met Dave, the love of her life in 1987.  Along with her 2 young girls, they started their life together. She began a hair dressing career, opening her own salon in Shallow Lake.  Later she worked from home until her health started to decline. But that didn't stop her from enjoying life.  She and Dave shared their love of classic cars, rides on the Harley, boating on Georgian Bay, camping with their 5th Wheel, and a special trip to B.C. in 2015. After hairdressing, Pam took up a new craft creating beautiful scarves that she sold at local craft shows.  She loved collecting and will be remembered for all the gifts she gave so generously.  Pam will be sadly missed but leaves a little sparkle with the many friends, neighbours and family she touched.  

A Come and Go Celebration of Pam’s life will be held at the Stonewyck Park Community Centre on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 2-4pm.  COVID 19 protocols must be followed. Attendees are required to wear masks and maintain proper social distancing.

Memorial donations to the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
