Peacefully, with family by his side, on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich in his 75th year. Ron, loving husband of the late Cheryl (nee Cardinal). Beloved father of Ami (Ryan) Wayne (Erin) Joey, Chris , David and Michael. Proud Grandfather. Dear brother of Robert, Steven, and Ken. Predeceased by his brothers Dave and Peter, and by his sister Sue. Ron will be missed dearly by his beloved nephew James that he playfully referred to as “Brother”, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends . He was a lover of animals and will be deeply missed by his companion and little buddy Bandit.
Ron was born on November 19, 1949 to the late Doris Testa. Ron had a passion for working with his hands. He loved trucks, cars and all things mechanical. Ron knew what it meant to work hard and spent little time relaxing but when he did decide to indulge it would be with Cheryl by his side accompanied by family or friends at a blazing campfire. His most memorable moments with Cheryl were spent on the water at the Thousand Islands Cruise.
Ron never liked being the centre of attention, but he did want to spend eternity with his wife at his side. To honour his wishes, both their remains will be spread at a later date at a location that signified love and youth to them. In Lieu of a funeral service please take a moment to remember Ron and celebrate his memory in your own way..
Private family arrangements have been entrusted to Huron Shores Cremation Services.
