William "Billy" Mills

Peacefully at Trillium Court, Kincardine on Thursday, October 28, 2021 in his 87th year. Billy, beloved husband of Ena Mills (nee Gillies). Loving father of Karen (Mike), and Sandra (Marcel). Proud grandfather of Justin (Robbi-Lyn), Joshua (Meghan), and Jarrod (Evelyn); and great grandfather of Anya, Hunter, Cole, Isla, Quinn, and Kaylee. Billy will be missed by Netta and Charlie Whitfield and family in Scotland, his niece Valerie and nephew Mark and their families in England.
 
Billy started his working life as a draftsman & then a teacher at Sarnia Northern & Saugeen District.  Billy’s passion for sports continued throughout his life from rowing 4’s on many Lochs, He was an avid tennis player at Southampton Tennis Club, playing into his 70’s. He not only played soccer but he coached boys & girls soccer for over 30 years. He also co-founded the Breakers swim team at Centennial pool. Billy & Ena, his bride of 63 years, spent many vacations in Kentucky enjoying life with their dogs
 
Billy’s family will celebrate his life in the near future in his hometown of Balloch, Loch Lomond, Scotland
